This position, based at Ambrey’s Head Office in Hereford or Operations Centre in Southampton, is for a full-time Compliance Coordinator working within the Compliance team and reporting to the Director of Compliance in support of the wider business focusing Document Control Management and Commercial Compliance of the Ambrey Group Management System (MS).
This position is for a Junior Maritime Operations Officer (JMOO) located in Southampton. The post sits within the Operations Department and will report to the Senior Maritime Operations Officer. The JMOO’s primary responsibilities will be providing operational support to the different operational regions, West Africa, Indian Ocean, and Digital working alongside a mentor within each region to understand and deliver all aspects of operations.
As a Software Developer – Cloud, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our internal systems within our Azure environment. You will design and implement loosely coupled, cloud-based microservices, leveraging Azure Functions to provide the backbone for our systems. Your expertise in JavaScript and Node.js will be essential in building robust, scalable server-side solutions, and you will use messaging services like Azure Service Bus to facilitate efficient communication between different system components. In addition to developing internal services and integrations, you will provide support across various business services, which may occasionally require out-of-hours work. Collaborating closely with our development and operations teams, you will optimize our cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance, security, and reliability. This role is integral to driving innovation and supporting our business growth.
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing applications using React and Next.js, with deployments managed through Azure App Services. Your role involves ensuring seamless integration with backend services developed by our Azure Cloud Developers. You will work within a tech stack that emphasises security through AAD (Azure Active Directory) and OAuth2. Collaboration with cloud developers is crucial to ensure that front end applications align with backend functionalities and overall system architecture. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for user experience, and the ability to adapt to evolving technological requirements.
